At least, that’s what I thought because I could only see the bad side of my ADHD but in today’s article, I will share how some of your unique ADHD traits can be turned into valuable qualities that can help you succeed as an entrepreneur.

Everything changed when I started designing workflows around my ADHD brain instead of fighting against it. I realized that traditional systems weren’t wrong – they just weren’t built for my brain.

Each time I use a system that is primarily visual like Notion (for task management) or Later (for scheduling), I am more productive and consistent in my endeavors. The one thing that changed my routine for the better was to switch to a visual task management system in Notion. I basically plan my day using Notion ecosystem – the note-taking platform and calendar.

Here are some tools I’d recommend for building this visual task management system:

I use Notion personally for this. I plan my days using Notion calendar and if I need to take or add any specific notes to a task in my schedule, I link to my Notion note-taking app. It ensures everything is in one place and linked together to avoid confusion.   2. Create clear visual hierarchies
  3. Limit text in favor of symbols and colors

Another thing that helped me is color-coding tasks on my calendar. The aim of doing this is to prioritize your tasks in an intuitive visual system that speaks to your ADHD brain. For example, anything urgent is in Red and for less important things, Purple. Each time I look at my calendar, I instantly know what is the urgency. Here is my priority color system:

  • 🟣 Purple: Waiting on Others
